Antony, Manchester United’s new signing, spoke with club media about his tattoos.
The Brazilian’s body art has piqued the interest of many Reds fans since joining the club from Ajax in the summer.
Despite having a lion tattoo on his arm, he has previously stated that his goal celebration, which was seen following his debut goal against Arsenal, is actually a tiger.
The tattoos are obviously significant to the right-winger.
“I have one with my brother that says ‘only those from the same place know what I’ve been through,'” he told us recently. “It’s a chain pendant around my neck, and the full sleeve has significance.”
“Yes, I’d like to get some more,” he replied when asked if he intended to get more in the future. I’m not sure what it is yet. My Olympic medal is also affixed to my thigh.
“I’ll get some more, I’m not sure what yet, but there will be some more.”
Antony won the gold medal while representing Brazil’s Under-23 team at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
Antony played 112 minutes before being replaced by Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr. in the final, which the South Americans won 2-1 in Yokohama.
In this week’s 5-1 friendly win over Tunisia in France, the wideman made his 10th senior appearance, coming off the bench in the 65th minute.

Off the field, the Brazilian is showing off his drmtic side by flaunting his new tattoos.
Antony’s Instagram story depicts him getting a tattoo just days after being named to Brazil’s World Cup squad.
The actor is shirtless as a tattoo artist adds to his already impressive arm collection.
In a subsequent post, he displays his new designs.
The word “shhh…” inked down the side of his forefinger stands out the most.
If Antony raises his finger to his lips after scoring, any Antony celebration will be heightened.
He also had the year “2014” and a fist drawn in bright purple ink on the back of his left arm.

The 22-year-old previously told Manchester United’s website about the significance of his tattoos, particularly the lion on one of his arms.
“I have one with my brother that says, ‘Only those from the same place know what I’ve been through,'” he said.
“It’s a chain pendant around my neck, and the full sleeve has significance.”
He stated in the September interview that he intended to get even more ink in the future.
